On June 4, 2020 at 10:15 PM, Inspector Jesse Lance, of Housing Borough Brooklyn, struck [redacted] with a baton from behind during a protest in the vicinity of Washington Avenue and Fulton Street in Brooklyn (Allegation A: Force – Nightstick as club, [redacted]) Immediately after, officers surrounded [redacted] and brought him to the ground (Allegation B: Force - Physical force, [redacted]). [redacted] a member of the press documenting the protest, became caught up in the crowd of protesters and officers and fell to the ground.
