Summary

At approximately 8:40 p.m. on June 2, 2020, police officers from numerous commands attempted to control and disperse a large protest at the intersection of East 95th Street and Madison Avenue in Manhattan. Sgt. Ramiro Ruiz of the 70th Precinct ran up behind [redacted] and drove his baton into [redacted] neck, knocking [redacted] to the ground (Allegation A: Force: Nightstick as club: Substantiated). PO Adnan Hussain and PO Veronica Martino of the 70th Precinct allowed [redacted] to stand up, then struck him repeatedly with their batons (Allegation B: Force: Nightstick as club: Substantiated, Allegation C: Force: Nightstick as club: Substantiated).
