On March 20, 2024, at approximately 11:45 p.m., [redacted] was driving with [redacted] and [redacted] when they observed another driver, [redacted] fleeing an accident. [redacted] pursued [redacted] and flagged down Sergeant Denis Gamez and Police Officers Stanley Joseph, Tristan Ozoria and Alan Acevedo, all from the 113th Precinct at the intersection of 146th Street and Rockaway Parkway in Queens. Sgt. Gamez failed to activate his body-worn camera (BWC) (Allegation A: Abuse of Authority – Improper use of body-worn camera, Substantiated). Sgt.
