Description: On July 20, 2013, decedent came home from a party after drinking. The family of decedent, the plaintiffs in this case, had an order of protection against decedent which forbid her from drinking in the home. Police were called, and decedent was arrested and sent to the hospital. Decedent was later transferred into police custody, where her condition deteriorated and she passed away. Defendant POs, nurses, and doctors did not heed her calls for help while in police custody.
