Description: On or about October 10th, 2019, at approximately 1:38 a.m., Plaintiff James Wrighten was lawfully driving in the area of 1st Avenue and East 116th Street when the Defendants--NYPD Police Officers Sherif Baksh, Brandon Gnanaraj, and John Does 1-10 pulled Plaintiff over. Defendants approached Plaintiff's vehicles and requested his license and registration. After examining the Plaintiff's valid license and registration for several minutes, the Defendants re-approached Plaintiff and asked him to exit the vehicle. Defendants then began to search Plaintiff's vehicle and him without a warrant, probable cause, reasonable suspicion, or consent for contraband.
