Conclusion Meanings:

'Exonerated': or 'Within NYPD Guidelines' - The conduct occurred but did not violate the NYPD's own rules, which often give officers significant discretion.
'Unsubstantiated': or 'Unable to Determine' - The alleged conduct was investigated but could not determine both that the conduct occurred and that it broke the rules.

Complaint
Description: On December 20, 2013, Plaintiff was in her home when NYPD P.O.s Sebastian Danese, Anicia Joseph, Vincent Garvey, and John Faturosso broke in with guns drawn. They attached plaintiff who was feeding her child, knocking the feeding bottle out of her hand, and the baby wrenched from her arms. Plaintiff was slammed against the wall, and handcuffed. She was not told the reason of her arrest. Plaintiff's parents were threatened with guns. She was later told that she was arrested because she had been seen walking with her ex-boyfriend, who was seen stealing packages. She was then held for over 34 hours and criminally charged, though there was no evidence that she was in concert with her ex-boyfriend.
