Description: On July 21, 2018 Plaintiff was in the front yard of his home at 4577 Matilda Avenue in the Bronx when Defendant Officers kicked Plaintiff’s iron gate into his face, causing a large and profusely bleeding laceration on his forehead. Plaintiff was slammed by Defendant Officer Brown. Plaintiff was unlawfully handcuffed and falsely arrested. Plaintiff was taken to the 47th Precinct, where he repeatedly asked for, and was denied, medical attention. When Plaintiff was released from custody, he went to the emergency room where he was diagnosed with a laceration and treated with stitches. On January 18, 2019, all charges against Plaintiff were dismissed.
