Description: On or about April 26, 2018, Police Officer Teriq Grant and Ryan Olsen saw Plaintiff entered into the convenience store and followed him because of his race. When Plaintiff left the convenience store and went on top of his bike, PO Olsen ran up to him and pushed him to the ground. PO Olsen also punched Plaintiff while he was on the ground. Plaintiff was unlawfully arrested and charged. Charges against Plaintiff was based entirely on the false allegations and fabrications by PO Grant and Olsen. All criminal charges against Plaintiff relating this arrest were dismissed on or about October 26, 2018.

Description: On March 31, 2017, plaintiff was lawfully at her boyfriend's house in Brooklyn when defendant officers Teriq Grant and John/Jane Doe 1-8 arrived, illegally searched her with undue force and arrested plaintiff for possession of a weapon and marijuana that they allegedly found in a locked safe in the house. Plaintiff had no knowledge of either item being in the house, nor did she have possession of either. Plaintiff was incarcerated for 5 days, after which the defendants maliciously commenced criminal proceedings against her based upon fabricated evidence and without probable cause. This caused her serious deprivation of liberty and emotional injuries. All charges were ultimately dismissed on October 25, 2017.
