Description: On August 10, 2019, plaintiff was lawfully inside the Monroe Projects in Bronx, at or near the basketball thereat, when defendant police officers, without any just cause or reason, grabbed plaintiff from behind, choked him, and brought him to the ground. Plaintiff suffered from a heart condition, and despite other civilians warning the officers of the condition, they continued to choke, hold, and strike plaintiff in the body. Plaintiff was not committing any crime or suspicious activity. Defendant officers then arrested plaintiff, and they ignored his plea to receive medical attention. Plaintiff was charged with crimes of disorderly conduct, and all charges were later dismissed in plaintiff's favor.
