Description: On April 24, 2021, Defendant Officer Dowling along with seven Defendant John Doe Police Officers unlawfully detained, assaulted, and stripped Plaintiff nearly naked as Plaintiff was peacefully protesting on the Brooklyn Bridge. Defendant Officers threw Plaintiff to the ground and attacked her with their arms, hands, and batons, beating her about her head and body, and ignored Plaintiff's statement that she is epileptic and prone to seizures. Officers then restrained Plaintiff using excessively tightened zip ties, causing Plaintiff to lose feelin in her fingers, and the Defendant Officers ignored Plaintiff's request to loosen them.
