Description: On August 11, 2019, around 12:15 A.M., plaintiff Youssouf Konate was lawfully in the vicinity of Hughes Ave and East 180th Street, Bronx, when he was approached, stopped, assaulted, and arrested. Plaintiff remained incarcerated for over 24 hours and all charges were eventually terminated in his favor. Plaintiff was maliciously prosecuted and injured on the head, neck, back, body, and limbs. Plaintiff was stopped as a result of stop and frisk policies and there was no legal basis for the arrest.
