Description: On June 9, 2019, a police motor vehicle operated by PO Collazo struck the plaintiff causing physical injuries to the plaintiff. Thereafter PO Daniel Collazo and PO Josue Batista violently handcuffed the plaintiff and falsely accused the plaintiff of committing the crime of reckless driving, harassment in the second degree and leaving the scene of the crime. The plaintiff remained in custody until he was released on or about June 10, 2019.

Description: On or about July 15, 2018, police officer Manuel Mongero and John Doe assaulted, improperly searched, and falsely arrested Ritchy Asamani at or near 3416 Olinsville Ave-the exact location unknown- and continued doing so at a precinct. The officers at no time had a justifiable cause or a warrant to arrest Asamani, but the officers proceeded to intentionally detain Asamani. At no time did Asamani consent to such an excessive mistreatment and at no time did Asamani physically resist the arrest. Furthermore, the officers arrested Asamani through racial profiling in order to satisfy New York's arrest quota.
