Description: On September 7, 2013, defendants banged on plaintiff's door demanding to arrest or interview a guest in the plaintiff's apartment. After the guest left the apartment, defendants attempted to put his foot inside the threshold and enter plaintiff's apartment. Defendants told the plaintiffs that the apartment was "frozen" and no one would be allowed to enter or leave. From 11:30pm until the next evening, all of the plaintiffs were forcibly held in the apartment. Description: On June 29, 2012, Plaintiffs were in their apartment in the Bronx, when Defendant Officers, including Fidanza, Balicki, Edouard, Rivera and Pasquale, knocked down the front door and entered with their guns drawn. Plaintiff S.B., who was fourteen-years-old at the time, was asleep, wearing only underwear, when Defendant Officers barged in and threw her to the floor. Despite that Plaintiffs were not found in possession of any contraband and had not committed any crimes or offenses, Defendant Officers placed them under arrest and then proceeded to ransack Plaintiffs’ apartment, destroying their personal property.
