Summary

At approximately 3:00am on November 11, 2006, [redacted] was eating with a group of friends at Abitinos Pizza on the Northeast corner of Carmine Street and Bleecker Street in Manhattan. Around that time, a party was ending in the basement of Our Lady of Pompeii Church, located on the Northwest corner of the intersection. As partygoers exited, a fight broke out in the Carmine Street/Bleecker Street intersection involving a number of individuals including [redacted] and [redacted] and possibly [redacted]. Officer Nelida Flores, a few blocks away on summons duty, saw the commotion at 3:22am and radioed in a report of a dispute. There were between 100 and 200 people in the street.
Officer Kevin Mulcahy and Officer Matthew Ramsingh responded to the scene first, driving East on Carmine Street to the Bleecker Street intersection. Officer Mulcahy and Officer Ramsingh exited their vehicle and broke up a fight occurring on the Southwest corner of the intersection. Officers Mulcahy and Ramsingh requested additional units to the scene. Officer Flores arrived around that time, parking South of the intersection on Bleecker Street. More officers arrived and additional fights broke out on the Northwest and Northeast corners of the intersection as additional people spilled into the street.
