Summary

On November 2, 2017, at approximately 9:30 a.m., [redacted] entered Brooklyn Borough Hall, located at 209 Joralemon Street in Brooklyn, when Police Officer Troyann Safi of the 84th Precinct, allegedly engaged in a physical struggle with [redacted] (Allegations A: Force, [redacted]), choked and restricted [redacted]'s breathing, and damaged her clothing (Allegations B and C: Force and Abuse of Authority, [redacted]). Police Officer Sorely Nunez and Police Officer Michael Gargano approached [redacted] allegedly attempted to break her arms while handcuffing her, and dragged her inside of Brooklyn Borough Hall (Allegations D and E: Force, [redacted]). Once inside, an unknown amount of officers allegedly kicked her legs and the right side of her abdomen, and slammed her head against the wall (Allegation F: Force, [redacted]).
