Summary

On October 1, 2021, at approximately 9:30 PM, [redacted] was riding his motorcycle near the intersection of Morris Avenue and East 165th Street in the Bronx when Detective Steven Ramunno, of the 44th Precinct, pulled him over for not wearing a helmet. Sergeant Juan Burgos, Police Officer Richard Castellano, Police Officer Edgar Pino, Police Officer Florian Gega, and other officers also of the 44th Precinct were on scene. Officers subsequently arrested [redacted] for criminal possession of stolen property and not wearing a helmet (Board Review 1). At one point, Sgt. When [redacted] was at the 44th Precinct stationhouse, Det. Ramunno searched [redacted] in front of the desk while Sgt. Burgos was present.
