Summary

On December 27, 2021, at approximately 7:40 PM, [redacted] was in the passenger seat of her rental car which her fiancé, [redacted] was driving on Myrtle Avenue and Marcy Avenue in Brooklyn, when they were stopped by PO Andrea Nieves Santiago and PO Luis Sandres, both of PSA 3, for failing to signal a lane change. PO Sandres asked [redacted] if he had been smoking or drinking (Allegation A: Abuse of Authority, [redacted]). PO Sandres ran [redacted] name and found that he had an active warrant from Ramapo Police Department. The officers arrested [redacted] on the warrant and, as PO Sandres was putting him into a police vehicle, he said, “Get inside the car or I'm gonna throw you inside the car” (Allegation F: Abuse of Authority, [redacted]).
