On May 31, 2022, at 01:31 a.m., [redacted] witnessed the arrest of [redacted] outside 2052 Jerome Avenue in the Bronx and filmed the arrest using his cell phone. An officer slapped his phone out of his hand (Allegation A: Force - physical force, [redacted] Allegation B: Abuse of Authority - interference with recording, [redacted]). At 01:41 a.m., [redacted] arrived at the 46th Precinct stationhouse and told Police Officer Claude Staten of the 46th Precinct that he wanted to file a complaint about the officer who slapped the phone from his hand.
