Description: On or about June 27, 2019, the Plaintiffs was stopped by Police Defendant Gil, as well as other unnamed Police Defendants, on the grounds of a alleged traffic violation. The Plaintiffs were then illegally searched. Despite no incriminating evidence, the Plaintiffs were forcefully seized and placed in tight handcuffs, before being taken to the police station. The Police Defendants threatened the Plaintiffs with protracted legal action, and also reported falsehoods to the DAs office. After several court appearances the matter was dismissed and sealed.

Description: On May 3, 2018, Plaintiff was aa passenger in a taxi and in the process of paying when he was forcibly grabbed and removed from the taxi by officers without justification. Plaintiff was then transported to the precinct where officers threatened to charge Plaintiff with various sex crimes if Plaintiff did not falsely confess to the possession of controlled substances. After Plaintiff refused to lie, officers falsely charged Plaintiff with sex trafficking. As a result, Plaintiff was incarcerated for eight months.
