Description: On October 10, 2020, plaintiff was driving a tow truck in the Bronx when he was stopped by defendant John Doe NYPD Officers. Defendants pulled plaintiff from the truck and assaulted him, before arresting him and taking him to the 44th Precinct. Plaintiff was held in custody for several hours before being released with a desk appearance ticket and summonses. Defendants then submitted false statements to the district attorney, causing plaintiff to be arraigned and required to participate in multiple hearings before his criminal charges were eventually dismissed.
