NYPD officers Farrell, Hui, Fowler and Kerr approached Plaintiff and requested to see the bike's registration. Plaintiff told Officer Hui the paperwork was in his car nearby and the officer indicated he could go retrieve the paperwork. Description: On January 11, 2020, Plaintiff was driving in Kings County, New York. Defendant NYPD officers—including Officers Hui and Hernandez—pulled over Plaintiff’s vehicle. Plaintiff produced his license and registration. The officers ordered Plaintiff and his passenger to step out of the vehicle. Plaintiff activated his phone camera and left the phone inside his vehicle. The defendant officers searched Plaintiff’s vehicle, without Plaintiff’s consent and over his objection. The officers broke open Plaintiff’s glove compartment. The officers did not recover guns, drugs, or other contraband. Plaintiff was not arrested or given a citation.
