On December 12, 2017, [redacted] engaged with a dispute with [redacted] in the vicinity of West 161st Street and Broadway in Manhattan. Multiple officers from Narcotics Borough Manhattan North, including Det. Jamal Hairston, Sgt. James Gerrity, Det. Anthony Chow, PO Shannon Myers, Det. Fernando Bonilla, PO Daniel Madden, Det. Paola Santos, Det. Darren Bruce, Det. Christophe Vanweddinger, Det. Mohammed Rios, and Det. William Garcia, arrived at the location, and [redacted] walked away from them and entered a nearby store.
[redacted] exited the store and walked towards a fish market located at 3845 Broadway in Manhattan. Det. Chow entered it and pushed [redacted] towards its interior. Det. Chow allegedly took hold of [redacted]'s throat (Allegation A -Force: Chokehold, [redacted] and [redacted] pushed Det. Chow away from him. Det.
