Summary

At approximately 9:00 p.m. on January 19, 2021, Police Officers Christian Santos and Christian Feraca of the 77th Precinct were dispatched to [redacted] Brooklyn, in response to a 911 call regarding a stabbing. Upon arriving, PO Santos and PO Feraca entered the home (Allegations A and B: Abuse of Authority – Subject Resigned) and allegedly refused to obtain medical treatment for the stabbing victim, [redacted] (Allegations C and D: Abuse of Authority Subject Resigned). Then PO Feraca allegedly told [redacted] that he should "bleed out like a dog" and PO Santos called [redacted] a "fucking idiot" (Allegations E, F and G: Offensive Language and Discourtesy - Subject Resigned). [redacted] was placed into an ambulance and removed to the hospital. Police Officers Matthew Melendez and Chandrapaul Temal then forcibly removed an individual from inside the house, with PO Melendez saying, "Get him the fuck out of here" and PO Temal saying, "What the fuck is wrong with you, bro?" Once the individual was outside the residence, Police Officer Ryan Gaynor pushed him and then [redacted] (Allegation L: Force - Substantiated) (Allegation M: Force Unsubstantiated). Once the house had been searched and cleared by Field Intelligence Officers, Inspector John Buttacavoli searched the upstairs bedrooms for a knife (Allegation N: Abuse – Substantiated).
