Summary

On September 27, 2019, at approximately 8:20 p.m., [redacted] was attacked by [redacted] and [redacted] at West 24th Street and Mermaid Avenue in Brooklyn. [redacted] sought the help of Police Officer Michael Kennedy, Police Officer Joseph Borrero, Police Officer Nicole Fox, and Police Officer Michael Cefarello of the 60th Precinct, who attempted to break up the fight and called for assistance while the fighting continued.
An unidentified officer allegedly brought [redacted] down to the ground by grabbing him around his neck (Allegations A and B – Force: Chokehold, Restricted Breathing, [redacted]), and then all four officers allegedly punched him multiple times (Allegations C, D, E, and F - Force – Physical Force: [redacted]).
